On A Magical Night

According to Article 212 of the French civil code, "spouses owe each other respect, fidelity, support and assistance." This does not seem to apply to law lecturer Maria. Facing marital crisis, Maria moves out of the apartment she shares with her husband of 20 years and checks into room 212 at the hotel across the street. From there, Maria examines her husband, her former home and her marriage. As midwinter snow falls, unexpected encounters force Maria to spend a magical night ruminating on the burden of married life and meaning of love.
